Landscape Design

The key to a solid landscaping installation begins with the landscape design process. We take great care at the time of the consultation with our clients to take into consideration all factors contributing to a successful installation.

We bring your vision to life!

JT Landscaping accomplishes that by meeting with you to discover your goals in terms of look and maintenance requirements, budget, and your ultimate long term plan.

At the time of the consultation, we will talk to you about many items:

  • Are you looking for a contemporary planting?
  • Are you looking for indigenous plants to our region?
  • Are you interested in creating a perennial garden or an annual bed to highlight color?
  • Are you trying to create a privacy screen to block out your neighbor?
  • Do you have a swimming pool and you would like to create your own oasis?
  • Is your intention to build a small patio with a fire pit?
  • Or do you need a larger patio with a lot of space because you like to entertain and need room for seating?

The consultation begins a dialogue that ultimately becomes the groundwork for the landscape design. Measurements and square footage does not amount to much of a consultation. As a designer, we have to see the big picture. We listen to your request and guide you with our years of experience and vast knowledge of the field. Ensuring that you achieve the end result you are looking for.

On-Site Analysis

We take all of the measurements and photos that we need to develop a comprehensive plan for your landscape design project. Factors such as grade, sunlight, plant choice, plant maturity size, water management, future maintenance, are all considered in the process.

See It First

JT Landscaping utilizes state-of-the-art software to layout your landscape design for you to preview before any work is done on-site. We have several design options to meet all your needs and budget. A 2D design is a fast and simple way to show the changes to your existing landscape. A to scale 3D design with video walk through is available for new builds or more involved and complex designs. Once we are finished with your initial design, we can make changes, develop multiple options or even show you what it will look like after the foliage has grown in over 5 or 10 years.

Our landscape design programs allow us to create a picture of your property with plants and hardscapes installed, before a shovel ever hits the ground. If you are the type of person that has a hard time visualizing a project, 2D and 3D designs allows you to see digital representation of the installation to take the guess work out of the investment.

Planning

Once we get your approval to begin, our team gets to work developing a plan of attack. By properly developing an landscape installation timeline, we are able to significantly lessen the impact that our work has on your daily life.
